26 & 2 Hot Hatha
New to Yoga
It's a beginner's Hatha yoga, practiced in a warmer environment. Traditionally known as Bikram Hot Yoga practiced in 105 degrees and 40% humidity.
A fixed sequence of 26 postures + 2 breathing beginner's exercise designed
to warm and stretch muscles, ligaments and tendons, resulting in proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant good health, and a sense
of well being.
This yoga especially targets spine and joint health. The
sequence is practiced in a heated environment to help open the body, facilitating the movement of fresh,
oxygenated blood to one hundred percent of your body, organs and
fibers. This restores all systems to a healthy working order, and heals the mind and body.
You will need the following to take practice from home:
Yoga mat
Big Towel to cover Yoga Mat
Space Heater preferred or anywhere warmer than room temperature
Humidifier (or steam from after shower/bath in bathroom)
Water to hydrate
