Lila Yoga is our parent company and was founded in 2014 with one intention: to share yoga to a culture riddled with pressures, stressors, mental breakdowns, and physical neglect...known as the desk job. There will always be work to do in any given day in the corporate world. Our certified teachers bring yoga to you and invite you to play.

Why Yoga?

Our Corporate Yoga classes, designed for every body and all bodies, is an inviting, safe, playful, and inclusive approach toward group exercise. The result is more energy, less stress, and a more balanced mind. Workplace Yoga classes are a great way to improve workplace morale, increase productivity and bring everyone together to do something fun as a group.

It is the only form of exercise known to increase flexibility, strength, balance, concentration and breath capacity while reducing stress and anxiety. Yoga can be a welcome break to a busy work day or a relaxing way to de-stress at the end of the day.

Workplace Yoga Structure

After playing with us for an hour, you will feel like the guy to the right! Below is an overview of how we play.

Opening 10 minutes

Participants mentally decompress, center the mind and warm up the body in the beginning of class with basic breathing techniques and simple stretching postures.

Movement 40 - 45 minutes

Mindfully and actively engage the body through various Asanas (postures).

Closing 5 - 7 minutes

We close with relaxation stretches and breathing techniques in final Savasana. The body absorbs the exercise and the mind enters a state of calmness and clarity with this final meditation in stillness.

Each Lila Yoga class opens and closes the same way. The movement portion will vary, incorporating various postures, targeting and strengthening the areas underused and weakened from prolonged sitting. We emphasize postures that improve spine health and increase core strength, which helps ease back pain. We also focus on postures that strengthen the major joints of the body, such as shoulders, knees, and hips, which increases mobility and range of motion.
