Workplace Yoga Structure
After playing with us for an hour, you will feel like the guy to the right! Below is an overview of how we play.
Opening 10 minutes
Participants mentally decompress, center the mind and warm up the body in the beginning of class with basic breathing techniques and simple stretching postures.
Each Lila Yoga class opens and closes the same way. The movement portion will vary, incorporating various postures, targeting and strengthening the areas underused and weakened from prolonged sitting. We emphasize postures that improve spine health and increase core strength, which helps ease back pain. We also focus on postures that strengthen the major joints of the body, such as shoulders, knees, and hips, which increases mobility and range of motion.

While this may not initially be seen as a challenging type of yoga, participants usually report that it is much more difficult than they anticipated.
Hatha Yoga is a combination of asanas, breathing techniques and meditation. Participants will become stronger, more flexible and will feel relaxed at the end of each class. Level can range from very beginner to advanced; Our classes are All Levels and accommodate a broad range of levels and abilities.
